SUBSTANCE: method involves welding cylindrical blank of low-cost carbon steel and blank of expansive martensite steel so as to form welded joint having section area 10-15 times as large as section area of cutting edge of ready blade; subjecting welded joint portion to cold rolling for providing 2-10% deformation extent; reducing semifinished product by cold rolling of working part of blade so as to form required profile; providing thermal treatment.
