AUTOMATIC NETWORK ANALYZER WITH NOISE/NPR TEST FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic network analyzer which measures continuous wave radio microwave drive transmission characteristics of a nonlinear device and calculates and displays corresponding noise drive transmission characteristics and noise power ratio data. SOLUTION: This automatic network analyzer 10 uses software or firmware 22 which accurately computes a noise parameter by using a closed-form expression. This is carried out in real time with CW measurement.
