PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly increase the allowable difference of the deviation between the optical axis of an input side optical transmitting medium and the optical axis of an output side transmitting medium. SOLUTION: On an input side optical path converting element, an output light beam is received from the input side optical transmitting medium, is converted into a parallel light beam parallel to the transmitting direction of an optical signal and is outputted by a lens 1, and the parallel light beam is received at a prescribed angle from the lens 1 and is outputted at a prescribed reflecting angle by a prism 3. On the output side optical converting element of the same constitution, the parallel light beam is received at a prescribed incident angle from the input side optical path converting element by the prism 3 and is outputted at a prescribed reflecting angle. The parallel light beam is received from the prism 3 by the lens 1, is converged at the input terminal of the output side transmitting medium and is outputted. |
