PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for effectively storing and supplying natural gas by effectively treating BOG. SOLUTION: This system comprises the following: an introducing means 11 for supplying the BOG taken out from an LNG tank under normal pressure without making the temperature of the BOG equal or higher than the temperature at which it is hydrated; a water-jetting means 14 for jetting cold water on the BOG; an accumulating means 13 for accumulating the gas hydrate 16 formed by jetting cold water on the BOG at a temperature lower than the temperature at which the BOG is hydrated under normal pressure; a storing means 13 for holding the formed gas hydrate under normal pressure; a cooler 17 for cooling the storing means 13 so that the gas hydrate is held at -1 to -4 deg.C; a heater 18 for heating the gas hydrate held in the storing means 13 to decompose it to natural gas and water; a gas-supplying means 20 for taking out the methane formed by the decomposition; and a water-supplying means 21 for taking out the water formed by the decomposition.
