PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door catching detecting device for a vehicle precisely deciding that a hand, a foot, or a bag of a person is caught in a door in closing. SOLUTION: After one end of a first pressure passage 22 and one end of a second pressure passage 27 are connected to a pressure unit 35, the other end of the first pressure passage 22 and the other end of the second pressure passage 27 are press-fitted in a reference pressure chamber 7 inside and a pressure chamber 15 inside. In this state, the reference pressure chamber 7 inside and the pressure chamber 15 inside are opened to the outside via a first pressure relief hole 20 and a second pressure relief hole 25 so that, if the first pressure relief hole 20 and the second pressure relief hole 25 are closed by a seal material 33, the reference pressure chamber 7 inside and the pressure chamber 15 inside become the atmospheric pressure of the same level. The differential pressure between the internal pressure of the reference pressure chamber 7 and the internal pressure of the pressure chamber 15 surely exceeds the decision level based on the generation of the door catching so that the presence/absence of the door catching is precisely decided. |
