VISUAL FIELD MOVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in moving work of a stage by manual operation employed in the past in order to move the stage while observing a sample by a camera, that the work is troublesome and that it is difficult and time- consuming to move the stage to the center position of the visual field of the camera. SOLUTION: This method is used to move the visual field when the sample 4 is photographed by the camera 2. According to this method, the camera or the stage is moved to move an arbitrary point on the sample mounted on the stage to the center of the visual field of the camera and its position is stored. Then, the movement distance from the center of the visual field of the camera to an indicated position in the visual field of the camera is calculated to moving the camera or the stage. Thus, the indicated position in the visual field of the camera is moved to the center of the visual field of the camera.
