<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a certificate issuing device of a low maintenance cost for issuing certificates such as a resident card and a certificate of a seal impression issued by a local public entity. SOLUTION: The certificate issuing device is constituted of a turning section 220 positioned on a carrying line carrying papers ejected from a printer 100 to a seal impression section 210 and turning papers to be carried within the planes of the papers, a printer carrying method setting means 201 setting a method adopted by the printer 10 for carrying the papers of the size to be used into the device and ejecting them into the longitudinal direction or into the short side direction and also a control section 300 turning the ejected papers from the printer 10 on the turning section 220 based on the setting content of the printer carrying method setting means 201 and so controlling the drive of the turning section 220 to feed in the ejected papers from the printer 100 in the given direction into the seal impression section 210 even in the case the carrying method from the printer 100 incorporated in the device is of a different kind.</p> |
