<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive packaging material for photographic sensitive materials which is capable of well maintaining the performance of the photographic sensitive material for a long period even with only the thermoplastic resin film layer without providing the material with an inorganic matter layer by making the packaging material decomposing and non-polluting before the intrusion of gases to exert an adverse influence on photographic properties into the package and has excellent recyclable, incineratable, antimicrobial, stainoproofing, dripless and degradable properties and a photographic photosensitive material package using the same. SOLUTION: This packaging material includes a transparent sheet made of a seeable-through synthetic resin and a photocatalyst-containing layer containing a photocatalyst arranged on the counter-photographic sensitive material side of the see-through sheet. The transparent sheet is a thermoplastic resin film of >=490 N/mm2 (50 kg/mm2) in the Young's modulus (ASTM D-882) in a longitudinal direction and 5 to 100μm in thickness. The photocatalyst is >=1 kind selected from the group consisting of titanium oxide having photoactivity, a multi component oxide of the titanium oxide and oxide of >=1 kind selected from the group consisting of iron titanate, iron oxide, bismuth oxide and molybdenum oxide, and the group consisting of zinc oxide and tungsten oxide.</p> |
