摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a formation of a polymer block formed in a fluidized bed and to control the working of the fluidized bed reactor by responding to the detected result. SOLUTION: The vapor phase polymerization apparatus composed by supplying a solid catalyst for polymerization to a fluidized bed reactor 1 and by forming a fluidized bed 4 in the fluidized bed reactor 1 by blowing a predetermined density of gaseous monomer from the bottom of the fluidized bed reactor 1 with a blower 8 to obtain a polymer by a vapor phase polymerization reaction in the fluidized bed 4 comprises; 1) a detection means which consists of an electric detection means 13 detecting an oscillation of the fluidized bed reactor 1 and a distinction part 14, and 2) an observation and control part 15 which controls a reaction condition of the fluidized bed reactor 1 toward inhibition of a block formation based on a result detected by the detection means.
