PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair rinse containing a glycolate of an amide amine compound as a main ingredient, excellent in rinse effects on the hair such as making the hair pliable and smooth and improving combability and good in temperature stability. SOLUTION: This hair rinse comprises (A) 0.1-8 wt.% of the amide amine compound represented by the general formula (wherein, R1 is an 11-21C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 and R3 are each a 1-4C alkyl; and (n) is an integer of 2-4), (B) glycolic acid in an amount of 0.5-2.4 equivalent based on the amide amine compound and (C) 0.1-7 wt.% of an ester of 0.1-10 wt.% of polyglycerol having 2-10 mean degree of polymerization and/or polyglycerol having >=2 mean degree of polymerization and one or more kinds of fatty acids selected from 8-22C saturated or unsaturated fatty acids.
