PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet transfer device for a paper sheet dividing system smoothly feeding paper sheets without arranging a dedicated worker in a paper sheet feed position. SOLUTION: A paper sheet transfer means 12 feeding a plurality of paper sheets set into a bundle in an input part 11 toward a paper sheet feed position 8, where a separation feed belt 67 is arranged, is provided with arms 18 and 18b moving to the paper sheet feeding position 8 by supporting the side faces of the paper sheets 10 with its projecting into the input part 11 inside and instantaneously retreating from the input part 11 inside right before delivering the last paper sheets 10 arranged toward the separation feed belt 67 to the separation feed belt 67. The paper sheets 10 are supported by the arms 18a and 18b right before delivered to the separation feed belt 67 so that the paper sheets 10 are eliminated from falling down in the paper sheets feeding position 8.
