PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a down tube and to facilitate piping or the like for a radiator. SOLUTION: A down tube 5 extending obliquely downward in front of an engine 2 from a head pipe 3 is formed as a pipe of square cross section, and a rib is integrally formed in a vertical direction on the inside of the front face part, while the lower half side of the rear face part is formed as a tapered part 62b narrowed on the lower side. A space 57b is formed between the tapered part 62b and the front parts of a cylinder head 27 and a cylinder head cover 28 of the engine 2, and an exhaust pipe 23 and a joint hose 34 forming a part of a water hose of the radiator 22 are piped in the space 57b.
