PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire, the rigidity of the tire side wall section and the operational stability of which are improved without spoiling the comfortableness of a car with such radial tire and the durability of the radial tire. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic radial tire, a complex comprising a sheath-core filament yarn wherein a core section is made from crystal fiber of 3.0 cN/dtex or more in strength and a sheath section is formed of thermoplastic polymer composition dissolving at 70 to 180 deg.C coated with rubber composition is arranged in a side wall.
