Shift selector for automatic vehicle transmission

The unit contains a mechanical connection between the selector and a hydraulic transmission control unit. The mechanical connection is a tension or pressure device, which transmits a longitudinal movement. During automatic operation, the device is directly hinged to the selector lever (1). During one-by-one gear selection in manual operation, the connection device is disconnected from the selector lever. The selector lever is carried on a crank (12) via a first shaft (3), which in turn is fastened to the frame (2) via a second shaft (4).
