PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail capable of performing a stable fuel injection by suppressing the internal pressure variation of the injection pipe and assuring a high stability in the seal of an injection pipe connecting part. SOLUTION: The common rail is configured so that a boss formed on the peripheral wall of a main pipe rail is furnished with a branch hole having a pressure receiving seat face leading to the main pipe rail and opening to outside, a pressing seat face formed by a connecting head part is abutted to and engaged with the pressure receiving seat face, and that fastening and connection are generated in association with pressing in the sub-neck part of the connecting head part caused by engagement of a fastening nut, wherein the branch hole is furnished internally with an orifice pipe having the same or a greater outside diameter than the diameter of the branch hole, and thereby the orifice pipe is hindered from influencing the sealing performance, and also pulsation is suppressed and propagation is retarded so that stable fuel injection is established. |
