PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be recorded, which is excellent in ink acceptability and dye transferability and suitable for using in a recording method, by which a printed matter is obtained by transferring thermally diffusible and/or thermally sublimating dye to a print medium by a method wherein an image recorded with ink including the thermally diffusible and/or thermally sublimating dye is heated under the condition being placed on any print medium. SOLUTION: In the medium to be recorded, with the ink including the thermally diffusible and/or thermally sublimating dye, an ink jet recording is performed on an air permeable support with at least one ink accepting layer thereon, at least one or more back coating layers are provided on the side opposite to the ink accepting layer through the support. |
