DRYING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HIGHLY VISCOUS LIQUID MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel drying method and apparatus for highly viscous liquid matter capable of drying the highly viscous liquid matter in a short time without diluting the liquid matter and eliminating troublesome maintenance. SOLUTION: A raw material liquid L is fed in a fluidized bed F in a state wherein the fluidized bed F of a granule matter G is formed in a fluidizing chamber 5 so as to make the granule matter G forming the fluidized bed F adhere on the highly viscous liquid matter and then drying is performed in a state wherein adhesive property of the surface of the liquid matter is eliminated. Because the liquid matter is prevented from adhering to each other in the fluidizing chamber 5 and is prevented from adhering onto an inner wall of the fluidizing chamber 5, drying of the fluid matter can be performed smoothly and maintenance requiring troublesome work can be omitted. Since dilution of the liquid matter is not required as is the case in the conventional method, drying can be performed in a short time.
