PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combustion equipment which can suppress an exhaust gas loss under an ordinary combustion state for burning fuel by using the exhaust gas of a prime mover and can smoothly switch the ordinary combustion state to a temporary combustion state in which the fuel is burnt only by air. SOLUTION: The combustion equipment comprises a burner B designed to burn the fuel by the combustion exhaust gas exhausted from the combustion type prime mover GT and a blower 1 for supplying combustion air to the burner B when the supply of the combustion exhaust gas to the burner B is stopped. A combustion control means 2 controls to freely switch the ordinary control state in which an opening and closing means 18 closes and the rotating speed of the blower 1 becomes a rotating speed for standby slower than a rotating speed corresponding to the amount of combustion for supplying the combustion air meeting the amount of combustion of the burner B to the temporary control state in which the opening and closing means 18 opens and the rotating speed of the blower 1 becomes the rotating speed corresponding to the amount of combustion.
