DISTINGUISHING METHOD BETWEEN MOVING STATE AND STOPPING STATE OF AUTOMOBILE AND AUTOMOBILE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can distinguish accurately between the moving state and the stopping state of a vehicle, and especially distinguish even while a signal error a route section measuring device. SOLUTION: This method to distinguish between the moving state and the stopping state of a vehicle enables to evaluate the output signal from a sensor mounted within the vehicle. The noise of a sensor signal is proposed for evaluation to distinguish the two states. This method is especially used for a navigation system in which various sensors are compensated at the stopping state of a vehicle.
