PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rubbing unevenness arising from the spacings between belt-like members interwoven with hair materials at a brush roller spirally wound with the belt-like members. SOLUTION: A winding trace index L is regulated with the transverse dimension W of the belt-like members, the spacings h between the belt-like members, the outer diameter dimension R of the brush roller, the shaft diameter dimension r which is the outer diameter dimension of a roller body, a transporting speed V of a photopolymer plate to be brushed, the number N of revolutions of the brush roller and the indentation S when the photopolymer plate is brushed by the brush roller as parameters. The respective parameters are so set that the winding trace index is kept within a prescribed range, by which the rubbing unevenness caused during brushing of the photopolymer plate may be suppressed and the degradation in the finishing quality of the photopolymer plate by the rubbing unevenness arising from the spacings of the belt-like member may be prevented. |
