PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biocidal batch that includes cross-linked natural oil as a base, and the methods of producing the same and for the user of the biocide in a thermoplastic molding material. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a biocidal batch that comprises crosslinked natural oil as a base and is used for protecting thermoplastic molding materials from attacks of insects, bacteria and fungi. The biocidal batch can be introduced into the thermoplastic molding materials without occurrence of dust or gas hazardous to health during the treatment and is particularly compatible to the thermoplastic molding material to which the batch is fed.
