PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet delivery device small in size, capable of meeting a variety of sheets, and hardly causing jammed sheets of paper. SOLUTION: This sheet delivery device comprises a sheet windup roller for winding up a sheet having a front end part and a rear end part, a case body having a wall surface surrounding the sheet windup roller, a sheet insert port inserting a sheet into the sheet windup roller, a sheet recovery port for recovering the sheet, and a sheet delivery port for delivering the sheet, a plurality of pressing rollers fro pressing the sheet against the sheet windup roller, a sheet windup roller drive means for driving the sheet windup roller in the forward and reverse directions, a sheet windup roller detection means for detecting the rotating direction and rotating amount of the sheet windup roller, and a sheet detection means for detecting whether the sheet is present or not at the sheet delivery port.
