PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such an accident that photographing is performed in a state where a lens cap is attached. When a CPU 20 detects the attachment of the lens cap, a cam shaft 58 rotated left-handedly by a zoom motor 61 and zooming moving lens groups 52 and 53 in a telephoto direction from an origin is rotated right-handedly from the origin, and a cam plate 108 is engaged with the plate 101 so as to drive an opening/closing lever 103 and move it to a position where the plate 101 shields a finder eyepiece part. When the lens cap 2 is detached, the cam shaft 58 is rotated left-handedly to the origin, and the plate 101 is retreated to the outside of the finder eyepiece part by the energizing force of a spring 107.
