PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding paddy field working machine capable of smoothly and easily steering a machine body and turning the same, and surely and easily stopping the machine body. SOLUTION: Right and left rear wheels 2 are driven through a differential gear, and each rear wheel 2 is provided with a side brake 38. This machine is provided with an automatic side brake operating means for intermittently operating only the side brake 38 on the turning inside interlocking with steering a front wheel 1 at a preset angle or more, and a brake 43 for applying braking action to the front wheel 1 and the rear wheel 2 can be operated by a single pedal 44.
