PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of detecting the pressure of a gas to be measured and a sensor unit to use the gas sensor to output information on measured atmospheric pressure, the altitude of measurement location, etc. SOLUTION: The gas sensor is provided with a first cathode 4' as a pressure- uncorrelated cathode and a second cathode 4 in which output oxygen pump current values more largely depend on pressure than the first cathode 4'. The difference of output oxygen pump current values between the first cathode 4' and second cathode 4 is outputted as pressure information. Output currents depending on the concentration and pressure of oxygen, which is a gas to be measured, are created from the cathodes 4 and 4', and it is possible to output the pressure value of the gas to be measured and the concentration of oxygen on the basis of the current values. By this constitution, it is possible to measure the pressure of the gas to be measured and constitute a unit provided with the functions of a barometer, altimeter, etc. |
