PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a screen device of a water intake port in a narrow place by forming it in small and simple structure, and to facilitate maintenance and to surely remove wooden chips and pieces of stone sandwiched between screens in a short time. SOLUTION: This screen device is provided with a fixed screen 14 and a movable screen 15. Plural lattices 18 and 19 for constituting these screens are alternately arranged on the fixed screen 14 side and the movable screen 15 side. The lattice 19 of the movable screen 15 separates from the lattice 18 of the fixed screen 14 by pushing out the movable screen 15 so that the wooden chips and pieces of stone sandwiched between the lattices 18 and 19 are releaved and fall.
