PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for a shaft coupling-enabling suppression of deformation by securing ventilation between the inside and the outside, and capable of reducing and preventing outward leakage of a lubricant. SOLUTION: This boot for the shaft coupling 100 comprises an annular installation part 110, installed to the shaft coupling interposed between two shafts having different axes and capable of transmitting rotation; a flexible covering part 120 continuing from the installation part 110, covering the shaft coupling and capable of enclosing the lubricant inside it; and an annular fitting part 130 continuing from the covering part 120, fitted on one shaft extending from the shaft center of the shaft coupling, and having a communication passage communicating the inside with the outside of the covering part 120 on the inner circumferential side. The covering part 120 has a dam part 121 close to the fitting part 130, damming the outflow of the lubricant from the communication passage, and nearly annularly projecting inwardly.
