The valve (10) has a valve housing (11) with an inlet (13) and 2 outlets (14), containing a sliding valve element (24), displaced between 2 working positions. The element couples the inlet with one or other outlet, under control of 2 shape memory alloy springs (23) on opposite sides of the valve element and associated heating elements (12), e.g. electrical resistance heating elements, used for altering their shape. |
