PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely decide a defrosting operation starting time in a refrigerator capable of recovering a heat. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a user side heat exchanger 5 for indoor air conditioning and an evaporator 6 connected parallel to the heat exchanger 5 for a cold storage. The refrigerator also comprises a heat recovering circuit B for circulating a refrigerant from a compressor 1 via a four-way switching valve 2, the exchanger 5, a pressure reducing mechanism 5 and the evaporator 6 as needed instead of a normal heating cycle for operating a heat source side heat exchanger 3 as the evaporator at a heating operation time. Thus, the defrosting operation starting time is surely obtained by deciding the defrosting operation starting time based on an integrated operation time at the heating operation time of an outdoor fan 11 attached to the exchanger 3. |
