摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide single crystal carbonate with high quality, which changes wavelength in a wide wavelength range and is suitable to such non-linear type optical materials as a wave changing element or a window material for laser equipment, and an acoustic optical element or an electrooptical element. SOLUTION: Single crystal carbonate 28 is grown in an aqueous solution at a certain high temperature and high pressure with MgBa(CO3)2 powder 11 as a raw material and an aqueous solution of Na2CO3 or NaOH as solvent 12. The single crystal carbonate 28 for non-linear type optical materials, being manufactured with this method, is represented as a chemical compound of MgBa(CO3)2 and has a piezoelectric property. The single crystal carbonate 28 is used as a wave changing element or a window material for laser equipment and an acoustic optical element or an electrooptical element.</p>
