摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a clear and bright picture display whose angle of visibility is wide by enhancing the aperture ratio of the active matrix type liquid crystal display device of an IPS(in-plane switching) system. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device is provided with a structure in which a pixel part has a TFT having a semiconductor film and a gate which is formed on a first insulating layer, a common wiring intersecting a gate wiring with a second insulating layer is disposed, a pixel electrode is formed on the second insulating layer and connected to the TFT of the pixel part and a signal wiring is formed below the common wiring and arranged so as to be superposed or the second insulating layer and, the pixel electrode and the common wiring are arranged so as to generate an electric field parallel with the surface of a substrate and the signal wiring and the semiconductor film are connected via the connection electrode formed on the second insulating layer.</p>
