PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion type remote inspection system easily applicable to even a narrow part to which a person is not easily accessible and allowing the remote inspection of apparatus. SOLUTION: A guide pipe 1a having a transparent window is laid from an insertion position to the vicinity of a portion to be inspected, and an inspection head 2 to be inserted along the guide pipe 1 from the insertion position is provided. A rotating mechanism about a cable 3 is provided on the inspection head 2 so that the torsion of the cable 3 can be corrected, and the cable 3 can be also remotely inserted and pulled out.
