PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the spatial resolution of a Hall sensor probe so as to accurately measure the magnetic characteristic of a sample with a stable operation. SOLUTION: The Hall sensor probe is provided with a Hall element 2 surveying a magnetic flux density from a sample, magnetic body noses 3, 4 introducing the magnetic flux from the sample into the Hall element 2, and a magnetic shield 6 surrounding the circumferential faces of the magnetic body noses 3, 4.
