PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate malfunction so as to break and damage a shield machine even when it is compressed during pipe jacking of the shield machine by enhancing the strength of an intake segment providing a permeable layer on a rear face. SOLUTION: A rib part 21 thickening a thickness is provided in the longitudinal center part of the segment body 4. A recess part 3 is formed on both sides sandwiching the rib part 21 in the width direction. The recess part 3 is filled with permeable concrete to make the permeable layer 5. A cylindrically formed synthetic resin-made cylindrical body 12 is provided on the segment body 4, and an intake hole 6 is formed with the cylindrical body 12. An erector hole 22 fitting the jig for grasping of an erector is formed on the rib part 21.
