PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate and improved lighting fixture for a light for a bicycle. SOLUTION: This lighting fixture for a bicycle comprises a flashlight type electric light part 1 and a holder 2 to be installed on a handlebar of a bicycle. A battery case 13a exposed to a part of a body 13 of the electric light part 1 is made of steel and is attracted to a magnet 21c placed on a surface of a bearer 21 of the holder 2 to be held. An arm 21a expanding upwardly from both sides at a rear part of the holder 2 also helps secure holding. An engagement hole 21b is provided on the rear part surface of the bearer 21 of the holder 2 and an engagement protrusion 13c is provided on a corresponding part of the body 13 so that the engagement hole 21b and the engagement protrusion 13c are engaged to each other during holding. Thus, the electric light part 1 is prevented to rotate and thereby switch movement by rotational operation of an operation ring 12 can be performed without any trouble. Further, unexpected falling of the electric light part 1 can be prevented by inserting a key holder 14a of a key chain 14 at a rear end of the electric light part 1 into a hook 21e on a back surface of the holder 2. The electric light part 1 can also be used as a flashlight alone.
