PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintainability of a chamber temperature. SOLUTION: When a stop is effected for input and output of cargoes, an engine 8 is brought into a stop, and openings 3 and 4 formed in the rear part of a refrigerating chamber 2 are opened, a defrosting valve 16 is opened, and a refrigerant flows in the upper stream side (the low pressure side) of an evaporator 13 for refrigeration. Defrosting of the evaporator for refrigeration is carried out by a flowing-in high temperature gas refrigerant. Since a gas refrigerant is caused to flow in the evaporator for refrigeration by a pressure difference between the high-pressure side and the low-pressure side, defrosting operation is capable of being performed without needing a high power. |
