<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method whose detection accuracy and reliability are higher than those of any of a diagnostic method by a pressure drop in conventional cases, a diagnostic method by a gas detection and a diagnostic method by a pressure change. SOLUTION: A flexible running body 20 is inserted into a cooling pipe 11 which is filled with water or a liquid in such a way that a probe holder 16 is used as a head. It is pressed further by a flexible tube 29 as required (an outline arrow). A diagnosis by ultrasonic waves is executed in the meantime. Consequently, since the diagnosis is executed by the ultrasonic waves, the diagnosis is hardly influenced by a change in a water temperature or a change in atmospheric temperature, and the reliability of the diagnosis is increased. Since the diagnosis is executed by the ultrasonic waves, the diagnosis is hardly influenced by CO gas or the like, and the reliability of the diagnosis is increased. In a state that the cooling pipe of a stave cooler is installed at a blast furnace, the cooling pipe can be diagnosed.</p> |
