<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting processing apparatus for flying ash wherein temperature lowering is reduced of waste gas produced following the contact of waste gas with a water tank and falling of molten slag into the water tank, and effective use of a heat source is ensured. SOLUTION: In a melting processing apparatus, a flowing-down passage is formed for falling molten slag outputted from a melting furnace, a waste gas exhaust passage is formed in the course of the flowing-down passage, and further a water tank is formed for rapidly cooled slag falling downward of the flowing-down passage. A pair of discharge chutes 60, 61 are provided at a falling slag outlet section of the flowing-down passage 28 for receiving the falling molten slag, sliding the same and falling the same into the water tank at an upper position where a small gap S is formed to pass the falling slag received between tip end of the chutes and at a lower position where a larger gap S' is formed which is larger than the small gap between both tip ends such that at least one discharge chute 60 is rotatably provided.</p> |
