PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag having a vent hole changing in the opening area according to internal pressure of the air bag. SOLUTION: This air bag 1 has the vent hole 2. Slits 3 are discontinuously arranged from the vent hole 2 in the vicinity of the vent hole 2 in a peripheral edge part of the vent hole 2. These slits 3 are arranged so as to extend in a radial shape to the vent hole 2. When the internal pressure of the air bag becomes prescribed pressure or more, a part between the vent hole 2 of the air bag 1 and the slits 3 ruptures, and the peripheral edge part of the vent hole 2 of the air bag 1 cleaves in the radial direction of the vent hole 2 along the slits 3 so as to increase the opening area of the vent hole 2.
