PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid material sampling device requiring no touching of waste when an operator executes sampling, having a structure in which the waste hardly remains on a bottom valve, and capable of collecting a sample from a plurality of depths in a drum can. SOLUTION: This liquid material sampling device is equipped with a pipe having open upper and lower ends, a linear body penetrating the pipe, a mechanism for guiding the lower end of the linear body from the lower end of the pipe to a lower position than the lower end through the inside of the pipe, a bottom valve fixed on the lower end of the linear body, for shielding the lower end opening part of the pipe when the linear body is moved upward, and opening the lower end opening part of the pipe when the linear body is moved downward. The bottom valve is opened sequentially with vertical movement of the linear body, to thereby collect the sample of the liquid material.
