PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating structure of an internal combustion engine capable of miniaturizing the internal combustion engine by increasing a degree of freedom in the arrangement of an oil filter, and applying a simple oil path capable of being easily worked and mounted in a small space. SOLUTION: In this lubricating structure of the internal combustion engine, an oil pump 85 is mounted on one end of an oil pump shaft 80 mounted in parallel with a crankshaft 25, an oil path 94 is formed from a pump chamber side face of the oil pump 85 toward the other end direction in parallel with the oil pump shaft 80, the oil filter 96 is mounted oppositely to the oil path 94, and a communicating path 95 is vertically extended form the oil path 94 to the oil filter 96.
