PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge removing system to excavate a sludge layer which is piled at the bottom of a pond and the like, to suction and remove effectively sludge floated after excavation without spreading them, and to treat successively and efficiently sludge layers which are piled in a wide area at the bottom of a filter bed and the like. SOLUTION: This system comprises a washing nozzle part 12 injecting washing water including air toward a sludge layer 11 which is piled at a filter bed, a hood part 13 covering a surrounding of a sludge layer to be washed by washing water of the washing nozzle part 12 and a sludge carrier part 14 suctioning and discharging poluted water including a sludge inside the hood part 13.
