PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to form indentations on the surface of an object to be transferred or to use a mold with an emboss. SOLUTION: In regard to a transfer material of which the adhesive layer side is adhered to the object 9 to be transferred and then a base film 1 is released, together with an embossed layer, to be used, one end of a cellophane adhesive tape of one inch width is stuck to the base film 1 of the transfer material after the adhesive layer of the material is adhered to the object to be transferred, while the other end of the tape is supported by a spring balance. When the weight (release weight) on the spring balance 11 on the occasion when the angle formed by the base film 1 and the cellophane adhesive tape is always kept at 45 degrees and when the tape is pulled at a speed of 25 mm/s is measured, the release weight between the base film 1 and the embossed layer is larger by 10 gram-weight or more than that between the embossed layer and the layer being thereunder and in direct contact therewith.
