BLOCK PARQUET AND METHOD FOR ITS PLACING

SUBSTANCE: block parquet and method for its placing are characterized by manufacturing separate friezes with slots and ridges of definite pattern composition and their attachment to floor by means of mastic or adhesive. Friezes are built up of symmetrical hexagon and relatively joined component parts provided with slots and ridges formed by hexagon division into symmetrical sections; pattern can be composed by alternating mentioned friezes. Parts are made in the form of two, and/or six, and/or twelve component parts of symmetrical hexagon; mentioned parts are provided with slots and ridges. Friezes may be made of different wood species. Pattern may be composed by means of computer. EFFECT: improved attachment of parquet to surface; enhanced adhesion of coupling members; enlarged choice of pattern; reduced number of slits upon drying of components. 4 cl, 6 dwg
