PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material forming a photographic image of high image quality and having enhanced uniformity and stability of finish. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material containing at least one of yellow, magenta and cyan dye forming couplers on a translucent base and having three photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layers and a non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer, the silver chloride content of all silver halide emulsion grains contained in the photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layers is >=95 mol% and the silver halide grains contained in one silver halide emulsion have been doped with an iridium compound.
