PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body with a packaging material for sterilization contained therein which is low in the cost even in a small package, excellent in the handleability and the protection of the content, and effective in preventing the degradation of the performance caused by the winding wear and the humidity absorption of the long packaging material for sterilization. SOLUTION: The packaging body 10 is formed by winding the long packaging material for sterilization having a bonded layer in the vicinity of both ends of two sheets at least partly formed of a gas permeable paper or nonwoven fabric around a winding core 12 in a cylindrical shape, and tightly packaging the wound packaging material by a packaging film 13. This packaging film preferably contains an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent.
