PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for paper band having its joining surfaces heat sealable and to provide a paper band made up by the said method wherewith the strength equal to that of a conventional synthetic resin band can be maintained for the made-up band while being made out of inexpensive material and recycling becomes available for the band after use while becoming free from troubles conflicting with the pollution regulating standard on disposal as wastes. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for paper band having its joining surfaces heat-sealable is characteristic of having processes wherewith an ultra- long paper belt body (1) is folded down inwardly, starting from both sides thereof, by specified folding widths (1a-1n) being equal on both sides of right and left with adhesives (3) applied to each one side of foldings, a flat band body (2) is formed with butted surfaces made up by folding double at the center are stuck together with adhesives (4) applied, and after that the formed flat band body is wound up in a roll.
