PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that difference in the amount of shrinkage in a heat insulating material caused by foaming and solidification is large in a part of the heat insulating material having a largely changing thickness in the case the difference of change in thickness of the heat insulating material foamed and solidified changes largely according to regions, and so deformation due to shrinkage becomes conspicuous on a front face of a door exterior plate, causing the deformed part to look recessed so that the appearance of the door is degraded, and this necessitates addition of a reinforcing iron plate on a heat insulating material side of the door exterior plate in the region and its vicinity where the deformation of the door exterior plate is conspicuous, and the weight of the door, working process and manufacturing cost are increased. SOLUTION: A spacer 6 is installed on a rear face side of a space part formed by a front face part 2, a side face part 2a and a rear face part 3 and the difference of change in thickness is reduced at least part of the other space and a foam heat insulating material is cast in the other space and foamed and solidified monolithically.
