PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material less liable to a gradation change due to the entering of a bleach-fixing solution into a color developing solution, in particular the enhancement of contrast (and/or the increase of sensitivity) and less liable to the increase of fog due to a change of color development time. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one compound selected from dimercaptopyrimidine compounds, dimercapto-1,3,5-triazine compounds and dimercapto-1,2,4-triazine compounds, silver halide grains in at least one silver halide emulsion layer of the sensitive material have >=95 mol% silver chloride content and 1) >=50% of the total projected area is occupied by flat platy grains having 111} or 100} faces as principal planes and an average aspect ratio of >=2.0 or 2) the silver halide grains are cubic grains.
