medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves using a set of genetically defined indices like dermatoglyphic data taken from distal hand phalanges. Risk is estimated from additional data of service length in working in contact with dust and substances irritating respiration paths, sex and smoking. Individual risk is calculated from formula IR= RRsex x RRservice x RRsmoke x RRderm, where RRsex, RRservice, RRsmoke, RRderm are relative risk values depending on sex, service length in contact with pneumotropic pollutants, smoking and dermatoglyphic patterns. When being less than 0.1, the individual risk value is evaluated as extremely low one. The value being equal to 0.4-2.5, the individual risk value is evaluated as low one. The value being equal to 2.6-10, the individual risk value is evaluated as high one. The value being greater than 10, the individual risk value is evaluated as extremely high.
